Paula Findlen is Ubaldo Pierotti Professor of Italian History at Stanford University.  She has taught and written on the world of the Italian Renaissance, its science, art, and collecting culture, and its legacy in the modern museum for many years, including her recent exhibit and catalogue on Leonardo’s Library:  The World of a Renaissance Reader.  A Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, she received the Premio Galileo in 2016 for her contributions to Italian culture.
