Race in America: A Country Divided
Overview
The United States has never been entirely sure what to do about race. Alone among the countries in the world, we have attempted to construct a nation of white and black, and many others, too. And it has made steady progress. But some believe that progress – political, social, and economic – has stalled. Each professor will address some of the large, complex, and multi-faceted problems of race in America, historically and today.
