One Day University Director Steven Schragis founded the company in 2006. Before that, his career has spanned a variety of roles in education and media. From 2000-2005 he was the National Director of the Learning Annex, and from 1989-2000 Steven was the Founder/CEO and Publisher of Citadel Press, University Books, Birch Lane Press and Lyle Stuart. His companies published nearly 2,000 books including 12 national NY Times bestsellers (two of which reached #1). Steven was Co-Founder and Publishing Director of Spy Magazine, one of the most influential media properties in recent decades, and before that he was also the Marketing Director of the Doral Hotel Corporation.

Doug LeClaire teaches at the School of Visual Arts, and is the Director of the traveling short film exhibition: Asbury Shorts NY. Asbury Shorts is New York City’s longest running annual short film exhibition, and tours to various theatrical and public venues in the US and Europe. Professor LeClaire also worked in NYC TV advertising production for over 27 years as a Production Manager, Production Supervisor and Line Producer.
